Versatility in the production line. Sausage manufacturing

To meet the market demand for various products, a sausage manufacturer has installed an automated system controlled by machine vision to quickly adapt the production line to the different sizes and varieties demanded by consumers.

The system consists of two machine vision subsystems. One is in charge of guiding a robot to choose the appropriate sausage for its package. Subsequently, another vision subsystem, verifies that the package is complete and allows the sealing.
